About Pax Christi USA

Pax Christi USA, an integral part of our organization, is a national Catholic peace movement that promotes disarmament, human rights, and social justice. With over 80 chapters across the United States, Pax Christi USA works tirelessly to address critical issues affecting our world today.

Your Role as a National Field Organizer

As a National Field Organizer, you will play a vital role in advancing the mission and goals of Pax Christi USA. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating and organizing grassroots campaigns to advocate for peace and justice
  • Building relationships with local communities, churches, and partner organizations
  • Developing and implementing strategic outreach plans aimed at raising awareness and mobilizing support
  • Conducting research and analysis to support evidence-based advocacy
  • Planning and executing events, workshops, and conferences
  • Collaborating with other team members to ensure effective communication and coordination

Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for this position, we are looking for candidates who possess:

  • A deep commitment to the principles of peace, nonviolence, and social justice
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in organizing and mobilizing communities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities
  • Flexibility to travel and work during non-traditional hours when necessary
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (preferred, but not required)
